These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Otter.news, including the Otter.news website, related pages, and any alpha, beta, or pre-release app made available through Apple TestFlight.

Acceptance

By using Otter.news or installing the Otter.news alpha, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or install the alpha app.

Alpha Software

The Otter.news iOS alpha is pre-release software. It may be incomplete, change without notice, contain bugs, crash, or lose data. Do not rely on the alpha for critical, sensitive, production, or irreplaceable information.

The alpha is distributed through Apple TestFlight and is also subject to Apple’s TestFlight terms and policies. TestFlight access may expire, change, or be removed at any time.

Permitted Use

You may use Otter.news for personal, lawful, non-commercial testing and evaluation. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the alpha except where allowed by law, or use Otter.news in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Feedback

If you send comments, bug reports, screenshots, ideas, or other feedback, you give Otter.news permission to use that feedback to improve the website, app, products, and related services without compensation to you. Please do not submit confidential information through feedback channels unless we specifically ask for it.

Ownership

Otter.news and its related names, designs, software, graphics, and content are owned by Otter.news or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Third-Party Services

The website and alpha may link to or rely on third-party services, including Apple TestFlight and hosting providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Otter.news is not responsible for third-party services.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

No Warranty

Otter.news is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Otter.news and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or device or software damage arising from your use of Otter.news or the alpha.

Changes and Termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue Otter.news, the alpha, or these Terms at any time. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
